Cascade Dog Spa Terms of Use

Introduction
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Cascade Dog Spa (“Cascade Dog Spa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking an appointment, purchasing a membership, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services.
Services Provided
Cascade Dog Spa provides dog grooming services and self-service wash facilities. All services are performed at our physical location.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time for safety, behavioral, or policy-related reasons.
Health & Safety Requirements
All dogs must be healthy and fit for grooming.
Proof of a current rabies vaccination is required as mandated by Washington State law.
Dogs must be free of fleas and parasites upon arrival.
Dogs must remain on a leash at all times while in the facility.
If a dog shows signs of illness, injury, aggression, or extreme stress, services may be refused or stopped.
Matting & Grooming Risk Acknowledgment
Severely matted coats may require de-matting or full coat removal.
By using our services, you acknowledge that:
Matting can cause skin irritation, abrasions, or “mat burn”
Removing matting may reveal pre-existing skin conditions
The dog’s appearance may change significantly
You accept these risks and authorize Cascade Dog Spa to proceed as deemed humane and necessary.
Fleas & Parasites
Cascade Dog Spa is a flea-free facility.
If fleas or parasites are found:
A cleaning fee of $20 will be applied
Services may be stopped immediately
Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and no-shows will be charged 50% of the scheduled service
This policy protects our groomers’ time and availability.
Late Pick-Up Policy
Dogs must be picked up promptly when notified.
Late pick-ups are subject to a fee of $10 per 60 minutes
Repeated late pick-ups may result in refusal of future services
Payments
Cascade Dog Spa is a cashless facility
Payment is due at the time of service
We accept major credit and debit cards only
By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge for services, applicable fees, and any policy-related charges (including cancellation or late pick-up fees).
Memberships
Memberships (including Cascade Club) are subject to separate terms, including:
Recurring billing
Non-refundable charges once billed
Benefits limited to the enrolled dog
Failure to comply with policies may result in membership cancellation.
Veterinary Care Authorization
In the event of an emergency, you authorize Cascade Dog Spa to seek veterinary care for your dog at your expense if you cannot be reached.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Washington State law:
Cascade Dog Spa is not liable for pre-existing conditions, including skin, ear, or behavioral issues
We are not responsible for injury resulting from a dog’s behavior, including aggression or anxiety
Grooming involves inherent risks, which you accept by using our services
Customers acknowledge that self service wash areas may become wet and may present a slip and fall hazard. By using these areas, you and all members of your party assume responsibility for exercising caution for yourselves and your dog while in and around the tubs and facility
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service at any time, including but not limited to:
Aggressive or unsafe behavior
Excessive stress or inability to safely complete a service
Failure to comply with policies
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes shall be handled in the appropriate courts within Washington State
